applocker not working

Hello,

I saw a topic about applocker not working and with no solutions to it and I am having the same problem mentioned in another thread. Applocker is not restricting app usage at all. I am actually studying the MCTS 70/680 and practiced the lab and it worked perferctly but at my place it is not working. Although upon doing gpupdate /force it is still not working. Please help any advice to make applocker work?

Have you started the Application Identity service. If not then start it then reboot. Make sure that you have created the default rules first or you'll lock yourself out and wont be able to use your computer. Watch this video here.

Thanks a lot I started the Application Identity Service as you said and it resolved the problem. Now everything is working perfectly.
