Installation WebFolders4 WHS

Simple, I hope. I copied msi file (WebFolders4 WHS) to my software/add-in folder on the server. Installation tried to install to the C drive on my client (desktop computer). Where should I install this program? I was trying to install remotely. Should I go to the server and install from there? How do I read the XML instructions? Is this still the best way to upload/download folders to WHS?

WHS Add-Ins need to be installed from the Windows Home Server Console, not on your local client PC.

You've got the first step correct (copying the MSI file to Software\Add-Ins); now you need to open the Windows Home Server Console on your client PC, click SETTINGS and navigate to the ADD-INS tab. Choose the WebFolders4WHS entry from "Available Add-Ins" and install it.
