Providing membership of the team , gives the user organization wide activity read access RRS feed

  • Dear All

     

    We have various teams in our implementation. Somehow , giving the membership of one particular team provides the user the access to view Activity records of the entire organization.

    When checked with the team role, the role does not contain any organization wide access for the activity entity.

    It would be great if anyone could share information on the above issue.

  • Yes, there is. For Dynamics CRM 2011:

    1. Open an activity form shared with a team
    2. Click on the Share button on the record ribbon (at the top of the form, section Collaborate)
    3. A popup will display the current privileges shared with users and/or team
