Fixit 50906 gives error code 2738

  This is the fix for Gadgets/Sidebar vulnerability. Download & ran the 'Fix', it didnt work.

  Trying to run this fix it ends with "unexpected error installing this package" Error code 2738

  Tried 3-4 options from Answers Forum to fix, still doesn't work.

  What is the current status of the Gadgets vulnerability issue? 

  I'm on Win 7 Home Premium x64 SP 1
