Forwarding of anonymous calls to OCS from within an Exchange AA fails RRS feed

    I stumbled upon the following thread in the Office Communicator forums, while researching an issue we have with forwarding of calls.  I thought it could be interesting to share it here as well:


    When a call comes in from a telephone line that does not send caller ID, the AutoAttendent refuses to forward the call to an extension. The SIP trace reveals the error "Cannot process routing destination" and shows that the phone context is "'dialplan.domain.com@ ( = Front end server IP address)".   When the caller does transmit his/her caller ID, the phone context is different and the forwarding works.

  • The problem described above occured on our system on an OCS 2007 R2, but with a R1 mediation server.  I just replaced the R1 mediation server by an R2 version on new hardware, but the call forwarding issue still exists....
