Live OneCare running back gets BSOD with BAD_POOL_HEADER

Question
-
I am attempting to backup one computer in my circle to a central backup external hard drive attached to my hub computer.
my other PC backs up just fine but this one gets a 'Blue Screen of Death' with a BAD_POOL_HEADER.
I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this with no success.
Please help.

That thread basicly says to uninstall the generic volumes under storage devices.
Is that supposed to be done on the hub pc or on the pc that I want to backup?
Since my other PC on the circle backs up fine and the hub pc backs up fine then I assume it would be the pc that is experiancing the backup problem. Correct?Sunday, January 11, 2009 4:23 PM -
Mark, you would delete the generic volumes on the PC having the backup issue.

Unofficial path - send me an email at sboots@mvps.org with a subject line including "OneCare" (to get past my spam filtering) and in the message body, tell me what country you are in, your forum nickname, and paste this link:

I am having the exact same problem with backup. I researched it last week and deleted the system volumes as described above and was able to sucessfully complete my weekly backup OK and thought the issue was resolved.
Now this morning, a week later, I am having the same issue: Automatice backup starts and causes a BSOD with Bad_Pool_Header message. I finally just unplugged my USB bacup drive in order to keep my system alive?Wednesday, July 15, 2009 3:15 PM
