System Restore not working RRS feed

    Hi,

    On my Windows 7 home premium the "System Restore" is not working.

    When I try to use it I received the message:

    "A Volume Shadow Copy Service component encountered an unexpected error. Check the Application event log for more information. (0x80042302)"

    If I go to Services and try to start the Volume Shadow Copy get the message:

    "Windows could not start the Volume Shadow Copy service on Local Computer. Error3: The system cannot find the path specified."

    Please Help!
