microsoft office 2002 non genuine RRS feed

  • I have got problems with microsoft outlook 2002 all of a sudden a pop up box keeps coming on saying it is non genuine, i don`t understand this as it has recieved updates with no problem before i have got microsoft office XP Proffesional with frontpage version 10.0.6626.0 and word , excel and powerpoint all seem to be fine.

                           I will not be able to return the software as i purchased it from a friend who preinstalled it for me who i have lost contact with, what do i do now will my office go off , i am very upset about this.

  • Hello bootlady,

    Your Office will continue to display "nags" about it being nongenuine.  It will continue to function normally and you will not lose any data or documents.

    Your options include:
    1.  Do nothing, Office will continue to work normally.
    2.  Uninstall the nongenuine Office and
    a.  Purchase and install Genuine Office at a trusted online or local seller.

    c.  Install an opne source Office-clone
