Discoloration in Planar Panoramas

    Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to stitch a series of 116 overhead images using ICE, but I appear to be experiencing issues with discoloration. ICE appears to be changing the values and creating a gradient (see image below). The gradient is more apparent with more images (116 images), but is still present with less (16 images). Has anybody experienced this and have any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Michael

  • It is a bug in how ICE handles vignette correction, especially for systems that have unusual vignette patterns:

It will go away if you manually correct for it before stiching.
