Hello, I have had my Dell PC for over 2 years and did a re-install using the same product key about a month or two ago. Now I'm getting the 'Windows is not genuine' problem and need some help fixing this.

The installation is counterfeit.
This machine was manufactured almost a year before Windows 7 was released, and cannot therefore have shipped with WIndows 7 installed - it looks as if it shipped with Vista installed.
The Key in use is an OEM_SLP Key - ONLY valid on machines which originally shipped with that OS installed.
You need to reformat and reinstall using the proper genuine media.

I had that same exact problem with my Dell Inspiron Mini. Here is the fix. You may have to do this every few months.
Push the start button on bottom left corner on the desktop.
Type in cmd.exe in the search bar. A bar with a picture of a black screen with small white writing.
Right-click on that icon and select "Run as Administrator."
The Command Prompt should open. if not, then double click on the icon to open it.
In the Command prompt, type in "slmgr -rearm" (disclude the quotation marks)
Hit the enter key.

That *may* work - a few times - but only for 30 days at a time.
A counterfeit install such as this cannot be corrected properly in such a manner.
