Computer dose NOT reconise Canoscan

  Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off. scanner driver will be closed. Code:5,155,55. I have checked the cableing and OK there is no switch on the scanner. Type of Scanner is a Cannon canoscan LiDE210 operating system is Windows 7. 32 bit power cable is through the USB cable.

  This shows up in Device Manager.

  Windows has stoped this device because it has reported a problem Code 43
