My HP laptop is telling me that Windows is not genuine. I have had this laptop for almost a year and it worked fine. It is an HP laptop and was purchased from Best Buy

Use the OEM COA key printed on the label affixed to your computer (it may be in the battery compartment). Press WinKey+Pause/Break and scroll to the botttom of the screen. Click the Change Product Key link and enter the COA key. This key is an emergency key for situations such as this.
