Windows Vista Free Bonus Pack Denied? RRS feed

  • Question

  • This was my original post, shown below (I don't know how to reply to my current thread, it wouldn't let me). I called the company I bought it from, http://www.cyberpowerpc.com, and they told me to send the invoice to Microsoft. How do I do that?

    Dear Light Hazard,

Thank you for your interest in the Buy Local program. It appears that you are not eligible as you did not purchase your machine from a system builder, as indicated in your diagnostic report:

    Windows License Type: Retail

Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.

    Thank you,

    Jenifer

  • We cannot accept invoices for your Retail Copy purchase. the Buy local program is only for specific registered local-pc-builders that resell "OEM System Builder" copies of WIndows.
