CRM for Outlook RRS feed

  • Trying to get this addin connected.   If I click the Test Connection button, it
    finds my email account and the company name,  click "OK" 
    and an error pops up   "There might be a problem communicating
    with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server".   If I look at the Log
    File, I can see it is trying to sign me in with a .local email
    account.    ( Yet above it has found my correct .com account )<o:p></o:p>

    I have been
    through Credential Manager in Windows 8.1 and deleted every reference to CRM,
    office, microsoftonlne etc.   I have reset my password for Office 365
    and also my Windows Live password.   If I log into Dynamics CRM,
    Outlook webmail,  portal.microsoft.comn etc, they all need my new password,
    yet Outlook opens and still works using the old password!  ( and emails
    are still arriving on my iPad, iPhone etc using the stored ( OLD ) password.<o:p></o:p>

    Anyone got
    any clues?   This is making Microsoft Dynamics unuseable for me.<o:p></o:p>

    Can you access the same URL over the web without issues? Make sure you remove all stored passwords from the browser cache too. Is this Microsoft CRM online? Make sure your system clock is also in sync with Microsoft time. Also would like to know the CRM version, Update rollup level and the error log information.
