Another non genuine Office 2007 (from OZtion Dealer ) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I also have a problem validating a copy of Office 2007 professional retail obtained from an internet dealer on OZtion auction site.
It also installs as professional plus.
I will try to get my money back and will post the dealers name once I notify him

  • Hello John,

Thank you for posting with us today. It does appear you were sold Office with a blocked volume licensing key "VLK". Please provide us with the name. Also I highly encourage for you to submit a piracy report at http://www.microsoft.com/piracy.  This will help both you and future people who visit this site. Also visit http://www.howtotell.com and compare your media against what you see on our site. Is your copy a high quality counterfiet?  You may be eligible for a free copy if it meets the criteria. Keep us posted.

    Thank you John,

    Stephen

  • Seller was Member "Daygoesby" on the Australian auction site "OZtion" advertizing "Genuine Microsoft Professional 2007 retail full version"

I have attempted to contact the seller without success

  • Hey John,

So are you enjoying the great weather in Wa? Thank you for providing us with the information. I have forwarded your info up. Still I would like to encourage you to please file a piracy report @ http://www.microsoft.com/piracy . As much information as you can remember and provide on this link will benefit you. Again John we appreciate your time and providing this information. How did you pay for this software? If you used your credit card contact them and see if you can put a stop or reversal of charges. If you used PayPal contact them and explain what has happened. Last work with the actual Auction Site and explain what happened to you with this situation and see if there is any recourse.

Take care and have a great weekend

    Stephen

  • HI stephen

Weather is great but a bit of rain would be nice !

I did complete the piracy report. I think it did not upload because the Link attempted to open microsoft outlook as my email server which I am not using as it is not genuine!. I will uninstall it and see if it uses outlook express which I have configured as my email client.
Unfortunatly I paid by direct deposit so I may have no recourse for a charge back. I will contact the bank and see.
OZtion has referred me to the Police internet auction fraud team but have not offered any help themselves.

    regards
    John
