  • Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK

You have a volume license for Microsoft Office Professional Plus which is normally sold only to businesses, academic institutions and governmental agencies in large volumes.  It should not be sold to an individual for installation on a home computer.  If you are part of the business environment and this is on a company computer you need to contact the IT department of the business for resolution.  The key for this product was created by a key generator program, not Microsoft.

If this is a personal computer purchase it is a common issue currently where a Professional Plus installation is counterfeited using a key generated license and then sold online as MS Professional.  A sure way to spot this is if the ad said that it was for 3 computer.  This would then absolutely be a pirated version of Office.  You should contact the seller and demand an immediate refund of all money.  You should also report this to Microsoft via www.microsoft.com/piracy.  If you get no satisfaction through the person you purchased the product through and an eBay or other online using PayPal then start a complaint with them if within their action period.

You may also be able to get a reduced cost copy of Professional by going to here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EBIAC

and reading about the "What is the genuine Office offer?" near the bottom of the Faq page.
