    i'm trying to reinstall windows on cpu .i/m useing product key on back of desktop but windows install isnot reconizeing key

    Hello Rondo, when reinstalling One Care you cannot re-use the product key. Use the Live ID and password associated with your One Care subscription and One Care will activate.

    You're off topic for this forum, which is dedicated to Windows Live OneCare. You may want to try the Microsoft Public newsgroups here: http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx

     

    However, since you are trying to reinstall Windows and use the key from the back of the PC that was placed their by the manufacturer, that means that you must be using an OEM Windows CD to install. That key cannot be used with a retail copy of Windows.
