  • Your Windows 7 license appears to be genuine.  Make sure your PC's clock is set to the correct Time Zone, Date and Time.  Then see: Fix Microsoft Windows Update Issues

  • HI Carey!!

I tried that and it said it had fixed a few things. It said that it didnt solve the "problems fixing recent updates". When i try to go and update, it says "windows cannot currently check for updates because the service is currently not running. You may need to restart your computer."

I restart my computer and nothing changes.

      • Click Start, and then click Run.
      • In the Open box, type cmd, and then press Enter.
      • At the command prompt, type the following commands, and press Enter after each command:
        1. net start bits
    • net start wuauserv

    • Visit Windows Update and hopefully it will now work.

  • This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers

try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=22194

    (you want the iata_enu.exe download)

Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.
