Not Able to connect SQL Server 2014 . Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 2) RRS feed

  • Just downloaded MS SQL Server 2014.

    Learning SQL for the first time and keep getting the below error can someone please see if they can help me with getting this fixed up.

    TITLE: Connect to Server

    Cannot connect to Kane.
