  • When you say you "can't even sign in with my current email account", can you describe what is happening and the url it happens at? 

    Display Names are unique in the system and tied to a users live ID. It looks like "slishnevsky" is already been reserved. If the threads above are yours, we can look into this further. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • I'll escalate this to our support team and get someone to contact you offline to follow up. We will need to resolve the difference between the liveid that we have on record with slishnevsky with the live ID you are now logging in with, because the way the code works, the are likely different. Thanks for reporting this!

  • I'll get someone to take a look at this early next week. I plan to figure out the live id username for the slishnevsky you claim is you and send you an email letting you know what that is. I understand what you want done. You want slishnevsky as your display name, you want all the slishnevsky_old threads and current slishnevsky threads to be associated to the one account.
