  • You need to purchase a full license copy of Windows for use on a Mac.  The copy you are using is copied from another PC.

    Windows Product ID Type: 2
    Windows License Type: OEM SLP

Type 2 OEM SLP Windows licenses are only valid installed at the factory at the time a computer is built.  SLP technology requires an SLIC table in the BIOS on the motherboard.

BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC table

Not only does Apple not sell Windows with their Macs, Macs don't even have a BIOS.

  • Your problem is you are using an OEM SLP key which must be installed at the factory at the time of manufacture. You have an Apple and they don't preinstall windows.

You will have to purchase and install a full retail version of windows from a legitimate retailer.

  • The key you show is the default key. (keyless install key.) It can not be activated.

Are you saying you lost your proof of license label?

  • Validate or activate?

If you bought a boxed copy, you need the product key from the label affixed to the dvd case from your box.  That product key can be used to activate Windows.  If you bought Windows online then simply return to your Microsoft Store account and sign in. You will find your product key stored there.

If you have truly lost the product key then you need to purchase a new copy,

  • You need to purchase a full license copy of Windows for use on a Mac.  The copy you are using is copied from another PC.

    Windows Product ID Type: 2
    Windows License Type: OEM SLP

Type 2 OEM SLP Windows licenses are only valid installed at the factory at the time a computer is built.  SLP technology requires an SLIC table in the BIOS on the motherboard.

BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC table

Not only does Apple not sell Windows with their Macs, Macs don't even have a BIOS.

  • This is a copy supplied by a product manufacturer called prism sound , their hardware works on xp which is pre installed, a latest addition in the list of accessories is this win 7 which can be installed in mac using boot camp.

This is why we see mac.my copy is genuine and i am stuck up at a site 4000km away from home, somehow in the consignment its lost!!

  • The key belongs to an Acer computer and does not matter where you got it. It is invalid for your use.

The computer here is an Apple – do you really expect us to believe that it came pre-installed with Windows??
