Licensing of Customer Portal solution for CRM Online RRS feed

  • Hi,

    How does the licensing of Customer Portal solution for CRM Online work for external users (users not part of CRM org)? Do we use external connector license? As far as I know, external connector license can only be used with CRM on premise. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • For an on premise deployment of CRM 2011, you need the external connector license. In case of online, you don't need a special license because its covered in the subscription fee.
