OFF Topic:Problems with running software

  What do I do if I have problems running software that I have installed and that was already installed with the computer?   I have noticed that I can't run these software files because I should use a sign in name of a higher authority than I am currently using or that I should contact a network administrator.   I am having problems that cause my computer to freeze when I am offline.   I have musicmatch jukebox and it is not currently working for some strange reason I've also installed Macromedia Studio 8 but it also is not currently working.   I started noticeing these problems when windows live onecare got security updates.   I don't know what to do, can somebody help me.
