Restore Archive Database

Hi,

According to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd277855(office.12).aspx, the Archive database does not have to be in sync with the Draft, Publlished and Reporting DBs. Is there anything wrong with restoring the Archive database from an old backup in order to use PWA Administrative Restore?

Try it in a test environment and see....and on that note, you could always restore to a VPC environment, export the MPP file, and reimport into your PROD environment. That might be a less risky approach than messing with the entire Archive database.
