Sort Order of Announcements RRS feed

    Is there a way to set the sort order of the announcements so that the ones expiring first show at the top of the list?  I have created a web resource for the announcements so that they can be added to dashboards and they are shown in the order that they were added.

    It is not possible to do that in a supported way. You would be displaying the home_news page directly in the dashboard. Announcements entity is not customizable and the views are not available to show in dashboard.

    Announcements have not been widely used in CRM and showing it in a dashboard is just a workaround as it is not available in the workplace anymore. You could choose to use the Wall instead of announcements if you are customizing the system now.

    If you have already been using it and need this feature (sort order) then make a simple SSRS report to display the announcements in the desired order and embed that report in your dashboard.
