    I am trying to re-install a pre-installed version of XP Home on my PC but I am always getting an Incorrect Product Key message.


    I phoned both the activation centre and the technical support and both were unable to help me... is there anything I can do?


    Stupidly I then tried to use a different version of XP (my other computer) to get me a little further on, but now I can't even activate Windows with this product key, and the manufacturer has told me that they cannot help me.

  • According to your MGA diagnostic report, you have a retail version of Windows XP Home Edition installed.  The product key affixed to your Fujitsu computer is an OEM product key, thus it will not work.  I would suggest trying the Windows Product Key UpdateTool.  If that is unsucessful, you'll need to contact Fujitsu support and order their OEM recovery CD for Windows XP Home Edition.
