Pages slow to load on WSBS2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello.

We have a Windows Small Business Server 2011 in our office, running with a MySQL database and serving up PHP pages to access the database.

If I use PHPMyAdmin and run the following query

SELECT * from jobs it shows me 32500 entries and takes about 0.0017 secs to load it, but, the page takes about 10 seconds to display it.

If we go to a networked PC and look at http://192.168.2.2/worklog/worklog_list.php this is also using the same query but limiting it to 10 entries, it takes a couple of minutes to load on the screen.

We are running a 1Gb LAN around the server, switch and PC's so, can anybody please tell me how I can speed up the load pages coming from the server please?

    Thanks

    Paul

  • You will probably get a better response on the SBS forum rather than WHS.
