CRM 2013 - Issue with Mailbox RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am facing issue with the current Mailboxes configured in CRM application. Following are the related details:

Issue: Mailboxes getting disabled automatically. No specific timing or scenario found.

Workaround: Manually click "Test and Enable Mailbox" ribbon button.

Error found in "Alert" (CRM Application): Email cannot be received because the credentials specified in the associated email server profile are incorrect or have insufficient permissions for receiving email. The mailbox <Mailbox Name> has been disabled for receiving email and the owner of the email server profile <Mailbox Profile Name> has been notified.

Event Viewer: No related Error/Warning found.

    Please suggest !!

  • Hi Abhishek,

Thanks for a quick update on the same.

I have gone through the link share above, however, i must share that this issue may not be because of incorrect credentials, as the credentials saved under "Email Server Profile" remain unchanged and are working fine. Its just that, every once in a while the mailbox gets automatically disabled. Post clicking "Test and Enable Mailbox", the mailbox starts working again.

Also, "Use Impersonation" is set as "No" under Email Server Profile.

    Regards,

    Mohit Ahuja

  • Hi Mohit,

It seems like every possible setting is correct. I recommend you to create a support case with the Microsoft to validate.

    Hope that helps!

  • Did you ever manage to resolve this issue ? we have an identical use case where 2 mailboxes keep getting deactivated at random.

we do use impersonation, the error mentions credential errors but that doesn't make much sense since it suffices to retest the mailbox to get it working again.
