Dear Friends,
I wonder why my Windows 7 (both x86 and x64 machines) automatic updates doesn't show-up the updates against WannaCry?
As you know there is an update against WannaCry which is KB4012215. I specially updated every other updates manually (checked notification, searched it on catalog.microsoft.com and installed) but didn't see the update KB4012215 among the updates that are
needed to install. After applying all the optional and important updates I didn't get any notification about an update KB4012215,
But, after manually searching KB4012215 and installing it, it installed.
Still wonder, if there are such important updates why they don't show up on Windows Update?
Maybe there are other important updates that are important against ransomware, malware which doesn't show up on Windows Update, what then?
P.S: My Update agent is up to date (the file wuaueng.dll 's version is 7.6.7601.24085)
