Multilpe user accessing same shared folder for synchronization, all the users having same copy of file RRS feed

  • Multiple user accessing same shared folder for synchronization, all the users having same copy of files/folder, The first user sync and create the metadata file and ID file, the second user start syncing the metadata file and id file get overwrite because of the reason existing file in the folder also getting overwrite, in the case of 3 rd  & 4th user also same issue. It gets lot of time for syncing the files/folder. Please give me the solution as early as possible.

  • What you are describing is exactly how the sync works. The latest copy of the file will be updated to all devices/users in the Mesh that are synchronized with that folder. If multiple people update the file at the same time, there will be a conflict. If you don't want users to have the ability to change the data locally and have that backfeed into the Mesh, you need to define the rights for the folder when sharing it so that the invited users have read only rights. They would need to copy the file in order to update that file, but it would never update back into the Mesh.
