Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 online Runtime error service unavaible RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

    Updated to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 online - from 2011 online a couple of days ago.

    Everything seemed to be working fin.

    Logging into E365 this morning and expectantly clicked on my crm button under admin only to find the msg below. Contacted MS support and filed a service request they are usually pretty quick to resolve issues but no luck today. Does anyone have any ideas. It's on the cloud and I do not have access to the server to troubleshoot further. Is there anything I can do besides wait for Microsoft to get back to me. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

    Server Error in '/G' Application.

    Runtime Error

    Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

    Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
    <!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

    <configuration>
        <system.web>
            <customErrors mode="Off"/>
        </system.web>
    </configuration>

    Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
    <!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

    <configuration>
        <system.web>
            <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
        </system.web>
    </configuration>

  • Got a call from MS support, its across the entire service. They are working hard to fix meanwhile they provided a work around I am not sure if it will work for everyone but

    https://ORGNAME--s.crm4.dynamics.com worked for me. Or variations where --d becomes --s

    so that is the normal url https://ORGNAME.crm4.dynamics.com/ you take the orgname and add --d or --s followed by crm4.dynamics.com

    Only works in IE

  • Same problem here 5 sites down, interestingly those users that logged in prior to about 08:40 and have not logged out are still able to access Dynamics without a problem. They have very strict instructions not to logout!!!!

    I got the same issue as above while connecting to CRM 2011 & CRM 2013 online CRM.

    It is possible to overcome this issue :

    https://port.crm5.dynamics.com/G/start/index.aspx to replace to below URL :
