MS CRM 4.0 Email Router Configuration Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am facing the following issue. I am using the domain Administrator User for this task.
"The E-mail Router Configuration Manager was unable to retrieve user and queue information from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server. This may indicate that the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server is busy. Verify that URL 'http://organization name' is correct. Additionally, this problem can occur if specified access credentials are insufficient. To try again, click Load Data. (The request failed with HTTP status 401:  Unauthorized.)"
    please help!
    Thanks

  • Is this user a CRM user? Have you specified the name of the organization?

  • Yes this is the CRM USer. Also the URL is fine.

  • You may like to access the URL ('http://organization name') in browser using the "domain Administrator User" account. If that gives similar error then it will be good to look at user access/rights in CRM.

  • You mean, with the same domain user, the URL is working in IE?

  • Hi Kiri,

Please post your question on a new thread as this thread is already answered.   At the moment I would say that your email router is picking up the email from CRM.   The issue now is with your SMTP setting as the email is not getting to the mail server.
