  • Question

  • I purchased Live OneCare from Future Shop with a one year subscription.  This was a month ago and now it is telling me that the subscription has expired.  I have tried without success to activate my account.  When I open up LIve onecare there is not option to activate! Help!

  • If there is no subscribe link in OneCare and you have not yet created a subscription, I believe that you may have the date and time on your PC set incorrectly.

If your subscription to OneCare shows expired in OneCare

    • Check your PC date and time.
    • Check your subscription status by logging in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com
    • Confirm that this is the same LiveID shown to be the Subscription ID in OneCare - Help/About…
    • Open OneCare and click "Check for Updates" to have OneCare check for updated credentials

If your subscription is correctly shown at the Billing site, but incorrect in OneCare and your PC date and time are correct, please contact support.

  • You will have there a Subscribe button.

You can also activate your product key from the homepage of onecare at:

    http://www.onecare.live.com

    Click on get it now.

    Choose activate a product key.

After activating your product key, hit the subscribe button in onecare main window and sign in with the Live ID you used to activate the product key.
