Laptop MOBO/CPU in a desktop setup? RRS feed

    I wonder if installing a laptop motherboard with its CPU help in the power saving issue?

     

    I am not too techincal saavy when it comes to laptop hardware or if it will even fit into a desktop.

    Some mobile processors can be installed in some desktop motherboards. Generally, a laptop motherboard is highly customized for the specific environment in which it's installed, and can't be installed in a desktop case.
