Migration of data from one crm 2011 online to other RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Friends,

We are using crm online 2011(old one) and we have some data in this. For some resaons we are not going to use this one in future.

So now we want to use another CRM online(new one) for our organisation.

Here we want move Whole our OLD CRM data to the NEW CRM.

Can we move whole data in one step to our new crm?

(Note: Other than exporting data to excel and again importing these files into new CRM)

  • Currently, using import/export is the only way to do this.

  • Jackie Chen is correct... Import/export is the only way currently...

But there is an easy way to accomplish this.

Look at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dynamicsconnector/ the dynamics connector...

You can use this to migrate the data from one organisation to another relatively easy as long as your customisation on the 2 organisations are identical. It will even set override created on and created by etc from the old system. Which in many cases is a big deal.
