Software rights when purchasing second-hand PC's / laptops RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I bought my laptop second-hand from a large organization in the States that specializes in the sale of electronic goods.

I assume that I am entitled to the use of the software that came pre-loaded on the laptop.

Since I accepted a Microsoft update I've been receiving warnings and reminders that the Office software is not valid.
The validation software states that as the software is licenced to a large organization, I am not entitled to it use.

    Please advise.

    Thanks and regards
    Fernanda
