view/edit binary data in visual studio community

will visual studio allow me to visualize and edit binary data in a wav file, can I see the data comprehensively with headers describing the actual content, about--sample #, time, amp, freq, phase, and fully define the complex waveforms within. and edit them, as I want ?

I tried to upload a vid, but it didn't work.

I can email one if you give address, to better explain.
