Product Key Blocked

Question
-
Suspected counterfeit Win 7 Pro supposedly Full Retail seemingly sealed. DVD looks pretty good.
Upon clean installation (Product Key not entered), the Product ID is 00371-177-0000061-85821
Upon entering Product Key (no Internet connection), Product ID changes to 55041-011-3191482-86613.
Upon connection to the Internet, and Activating, it reports as being "blocked".
Where can I find MGADIAG? I've tried the search box under the Start menu (God! How I love the Start menu!!) and under CMD with no luck.
Thanks.
PS: Yeah, very funny how this webpage doesn't work with Chrome. Ha ha ha. Good one. Anyway...

Unfortunately, the installed Windows 7 license is counterfeit. It is a "Volume License" for Windows 7 Professional that is only sold to business enterprises and not to individuals (It is not a retail license by any means) Ask the Seller for a 100% refund. (or feel free to submit a Counterfeit Software Report )
From your MGA Report:
Product Name: Windows 7 Professional
Windows License Type: Volume MAK
"By the way, the Seller points to many Activation problem threads as evidence that this is Microsoft's error. Not his."
Reply: That's pretty much a standard reply used by unscrupulous sellers of counterfeit Microsoft software. It's not true at all.

MGA Diagnostic Report:
To properly analyze and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop -http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once downloaded, run the tool.Click on the Continue button, after a short time, the Continue button will change to a Copy button.Click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your post. One Issue Per Thread:
Most Activation and Validation issues look the same, on the surface, but can have many different causes and fixes. This is why we ask for a diagnostic report and this is also why we ask that you create your own thread for your issue (in other words, don't post your issue in another person's thread).
It just becomes too complicated to try to troubleshoot multiple different issues in the same thread.
New to the Forums?
Note that if you are new to these forums, you may find that you are unable to post due to a restriction on the inclusion of links and pictures.
Simply delete the only lines that contain links - this will allow the remainder of the report to upload (and those lines are not generally critical to the report anyhow)Please do not read this sentence. Please ignore the previous sentence.

Trying to paste the MGA report here and it says I can't include images or links.
What?
FAIL.

So even I can see some doctored files in the WAT section.
Anyway, what about the Product Key? It's not in the range mentioned.

Is MS interested in this seemingly-counterfeit item?
Paypal recommends refund, including returning the item to the seller.
MS mentions a replacement program, but the policies are unclear. I'd rather have a for-sure refund than a maybe-replacement.

By the way, I could write an Errata on all the mistakes, errors and inconsistencies on the part of MS that I've been struggling through in this process.

By the way, the Seller points to many Activation problem threads as evidence that this is Microsoft's error. Not his.
I'm almost interested in how the debate would turn out, but PayPal says I have to return everything to the Seller shortly to get my refund. As it's serious money, I'm going to do so tomorrow.

Thank you. After nearly a week of dealing with inane Microsoft autobots, I appreciate a crystral clear and obviously accurate response.
While yyou're here, is it possible to purchase Win 7 Pro, or a Win 8 with downgrade rights, that is actually Full Retail (not OEM). Reason being is quite simple. I bought a used gaming PC with no OS. MB manufacturer supports Win 7, as it's a few years old, not Win 8. As it's a used PC, I'd like to have Retail so the license can be moved along in a few years. From what I can see, no Win 7 Retail. Win 8 either Retail with no downgrade rights, or OEM and locked (even dubious to use OEM).
So Microsoft literally doesn't address this case? The advice is to go out and pay as high a price as possible, maybe $300, and hopefully the high price will somehow make it Genuine. No wonder Microsoft leaves a trail of angry customers in their wake.
Any advice in this? Thanks.
Tuesday, July 29, 2014 10:16 AM -
Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer distributes or offers retail versions of Windows 7. Only OEM versions are now available. Examples
Windows 8.1 downgrade rights to Windows 7 are only applicable to PCs preinstalled with Windows 8.1 Pro at the factory and do not apply to individual versions not preinstalled by a PC manufacturer.

Well, that's a mistake on Microsoft's part. I don't appreciate it when companies are acting stupid. As mentioned, they're leaving a trial of angry customers in their wake. Maybe someday, Microsoft will come to their senses and stop making GUI decisions into a religious edict and give consumers some choice. If there's ever a version of Windows 8 that comes with a sensible Start button *and* Menu, then I'll consider buying one if the need arises. As it sits now, it's unacceptable. Period.
Thankfully the used gaming PC now has Ubuntu installed and there's a Steam available for this. So the used gaming PC will live on as a dedicated Steam gaming machine, with no need for Windows.
PayPal will get me a refund from the unscrupulous seller, so I'm out only return shipping.
Thanks for your assistance. It is appreciated. Next time you're at Microsoft World Headquarters, tell them I said Hi.

It would have helped if you'd followed instructions - and used the correct version of MGADiag.
You are using a version which has no knowledge of the finer points of Windows 7. In this respect at least, the failure is YOURS, you MS's, since you were given explicit instructions on where to download the tool from, and FAILed to follow them.

@Noel
To which point are you replying? Your reply is erratic and abusive.
Thursday, July 31, 2014 6:10 PM -
Erratic? no, simply directed at a particular aspect of your posting.
Abusive? - possibly - so I'll let others decide that.
You were instructed by Kamin to download MGADiag from a particular site, after specifically requesting information on where to download the tool.
Instead you downloaded it from some other site - which may or may not have been an MS one, and may or may not have been infected with malware. Whichever it is, it is a version from before 2008 , and has no knowledge of the changes introduced in either Vista or Windows 7.
In that respect you failed to follow the advice given here, and this led me to wonder about your actions in other respects.
