I do apologize if I am posting in two different CRM groups however I do need an answer and I just saw the CRM Deployment group.
CRM will be installed into our organization. My focus is the CRM 2011 e-Mail router; and in particular, KB 2023229 (last review date of 12/29/2010) A FAQ about the email
in which there is a question about e-Mail router support MS Exch server with self-signed. The answer says CRM e-Mail router does NOT support self-signed certificates.
You must implement a signed certificate on the server which runs Exch server.
There is no reason for our Exchange organization to have a publcly signed certificate because we offload SSL. OWA cannot be accessed
from the Internet except through our SSL box; we do not use Outlook Anywhere - we have our SSL box, Autodiscover no
Is there a way around other than implementing signed certificates within our E2K7 organization?
