P2P Enabling? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Well, by now, all of us users, know there is a questionable issue in the speed.

I was trying it out with 2 of my colleagues sitting right beside me, working on the same network and Tahiti kind of Hangs even on a simple mouse movement......

Correct me if I'm wrong. I think skype uses a method where it identifies the network and creates a virtual P2P network, clustering all those machines connected through it into one group. Now I understand that it might result in the session's data being stored somewhere in the local and the Tahiti MSI also having the chances of growing considerably big.  But that surely might prove a good bet to speed things up.

  • Hi Manoj,

We are currently investigating different methods to improve product performance in future releases. P2P will be evaluated as an option.

    Thank you for your feedback!
