    Windows Installer 3.1 v2[v1] 

     

    Recently some customers have been experiencing various problems surrounding the Windows Installer 3.1 v2.  Unfortunately Windows Installer is outside of our expertise and is out of scope for Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program.  However, This Knowledge Based (KB) article may help you to resolve common Windows Installer problems you may have encountered:

    Also you may be required to use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to uninstall the failed product as outlined in Method 3 of the previous KB article.
