    Are deltas used when synchronizing files and changes are detected?

    Can you point me to information regarding deltas?

    Is it something similar to rsync for delta transmission?

    My question is not about the file change detection but about how are the file changes transmited. I assume deltas are transmited instead of the entire files but I can't find information about what is used. in the sync framework. I read something about a windows DeltaCopy API. What is used in the sync framework?

    If a change (update) has been detected in a file, the File Sync Provider will send the entire file to the destination.
