MCITP exams still available RRS feed

    I'm confused, both the 70-649 and 70-647 exams are still available through prometric. The MS retirement website mentions nothing about them being retired, however everywhere I look says these exams should have retired July 31, 2014. So what is the right answer, can I write these tests and still get my MCITP EA or not? Or rather, if I can still schedule tests for these exams, then when ARE they retiring? Thanks!

    Both exams or the certification itself don't show as retired yet, however a question remains .. is it still worth the time and money to get certified on Windows 2008, when there are 2012 R2 released?

    You can still schedule the 2008 exams, if you want.

    I will eventually be certified in both, but would like to follow the upgrade path since I only need 70-647 to get EA cert. Thanks for the reply.
