Hacked RDP -> Now no backups

  I foolishly hacked my HTPC (Vista x64 Home Premium) to enable RDP.  Reason being, Lifextender (commercial removal for RecordedTV), gets blocked at Windows startup and has to be enabled after every reboot.  I wanted my HTPC to be headless, so I enabled RDP, works great. 
  
  However, that has apparently broken my WHS backup on the HTPC.  It hasn't backed up for two nights.  Any suggestions, how would RDP be affecting the backup function on the client.   Where can I get a log on WHS of an error etc?  Thank you.
