  • E911 is not supported in OCS in such that Emergency services will 'see' the location of your Enterprise Voice enabled users as wherever the integrated IP-PBX is located.  There is no locatino information sent.  Basically all OCS users, regardless of where they are physically located at the time of the call will appear to be in that same location as your phone system.

  • Although not natively supported there is a third party provider that can help with E911 for OCS. I mentioned it on my blog here http://voipnorm.blogspot.com/2009/01/e911-for-ocs.html. Basically E911 Enable by Connexons is providing the ability to add a location through a custom tab interface and their Gateways route the call to the correct PSAP.
