SUDDENLY RECEIVED "BUILD 7600 THIS COPY OF WINDOWS IS NOT A GENUINE"

Question
-
I understood I was purchasing a legitimate Windows! Now getting this is frustrating as we are preparing for a 6 week trip to Europe and purchased these 2 HP Netbooks just for this trip! I have not checked my husband's yet to see if he has this same message .. purchased at the same time .. all done the same way.
Step I took: Did the fwlink and will now post the "Diagnostic Report" as it said to do:

Hello Kate,
It appear that your Windows 7 just needs to be Activated.
Normally you will see a notice on the task bar that you need to Activate and you just need to click on that Notice and the Activation Wizard will launch. Follow the directions and the issue should be resolved.
If you do not see the Activation Notice in the task bar, then you can click the Start button and type slui 4 in the search field and then press the "Enter" key. This will bring up the Activate by Phone dialog window. Follow the steps provided by the window. The phone activation process should only take about 6 minutes.
Thank you,
