  • Question

  • I was browsing your Academic Search site and found that most (if not all) of my publications were attributed to someone by the same name who seems to have graduated from a school in Italy.  Although my name is not a common name, I feel that this is at best sloppy and at worst dishonest.

  • Hello Ron,

Thank you for your feedback. The content in Microsoft Academic Search is based on tens of millions of articles indexed from scholarly publishers and grouped by author profile. The author profiles are created algorithmically, and we recognize some errors may occur. It is possible to edit publications so that they appear on your author profile. To learn how to make changes to content in Microsoft Academic Search, please see our help documentation. If you do not currently have an author profile, you can contact us at acadfb@microsoft.com so that we can gather additional information and create one for you.

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Best regards,

    Thomas, Academic Search Editor
