Assigning categories to contacts RRS feed

  • Hi, Im brand new here and could use some direction with origanizing my contacts. I understand that outlook categories can not be created in CRM. I need to be able sort my contacts into (somthing like a category) for my own reporting.

  • You could add a new custom field like on Option Set (drop down list) to the Contact entity. Once created you could assign values to your Contacts and use the Advanced Find or reporting functionality to view different subsets of your Contacts.
