Issue with Enterprise Custom Fields in MS Project 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am using Project 2007 and Project Server 2007. One user reported that he had an issue with enterprise custom fields in MS Project 2007. This enterprise custom field has been added on TASK level. In the actual field and in the drop down data from a different enterprise custom field is visible.

Is this a known issue ? The link below describes a workaround to clean up the Project 2007 cache. Is this the way to go ?

    Thanks

  • Correct - first thing to try when those fields get garbled is to clean the user cache.  You may also wish to confirm if other users are having the same issue.

  • Hi Sven,

Alternatively you can delete your cache from MS Project It self using following way.

    1) Open MS Project with your account.

    2) Go to "Tools" menu click "Local Project Cache".

    3) Then "Clean Up Cache".

    4) Then Select option "Projects not checked out to you"

    5) Then Remove all project from cache.

    Thats all.
