Cannot validate Office XP after changing motherboard RRS feed

  • After changing my MB I cannot validate my Office XP because it´s not activated, but when I try click on "activate product" in either Word or Excel it says that it ´s already activated. What is the problem and what do I do about it?

    Your mgadiag report is showing that your installation of Office XP Small Biz is not activated.  Lately, we have noticed a lot of folks posting with similar situations, that their longtime installations of Office XP have suddenly become "nongenuine" due to becoming not activated.

    Most of the time, following Method 2 in the MS KB article takes care of the problem:
